Assistant Principal / Athletic Director

Suzanne White, Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Taft Union High School (TUHS), is a proud 2001 graduate of TUHS. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Bakersfield in 2005, followed by a Secondary Education Teaching Credential in 2006. In 2018, she earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.

Mrs. White began her teaching career in 2006 at Lincoln Junior High School, where she taught science for fifteen years. During her tenure, she also taught Physical Education, Science Lab, and English Language Development (ELD). In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she dedicated over a decade to coaching at Taft Union High School from 2006 to 2018, leading teams in basketball, volleyball, and softball. 

In 2021, Mrs. White returned to her TUHS Alma Mater as the Dean of Student Support Services and Athletic Director. Her dedication and leadership led to her appointment as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director in 2023.

 

 

Mrs. White is honored to serve as part of a team that values tradition, fosters strong relationships with students, parents, and the community, and is committed to empowering the next generation. Her mission is to inspire student-athletes to excel in competition, leadership, and character, cultivating a culture of integrity, resilience, and excellence that enhances the educational experience at Taft Union High School.
